On March 4, Stonebridge and Inova Health System announced an agreement to advance the redevelopment of Alexandria’s Oakville Triangle neighborhood with an Inova HealthPlex as the anchor tenant. The proposal will require amendments to the Oakville Triangle & Route 1 Corridor Vision Plan and Urban Design Standards & Guidelines approved in 2015.

Stonebridge and Inova Health System will host community engagement opportunities regarding the proposed Oakville Triangle redevelopment, which will include recorded visual presentations to accompany materials posted on the project webpage. The community is invited to provide feedback and ask questions through an online engagement portal that will be posted on the project website prior to the dates listed below and responses will be included in the next planned presentation. Details are as follows:

• March 26: Presentation will include an overview of the conceptual plan of the project and amendments to the approved plan.
• April 16: Presentation will include additional design materials and address community feedback and questions from the March 26 materials.
• May 7: A determination will be made the week of April 27 as to the forum for the meeting recorded or virtual. This session will be focused on feedback gained through the community engagement process.

The applications are currently anticipated for review by the Planning Commission and City Council in the fall.
