Starting January 6, 2025, additional construction will begin along Richmond Highway at E Reed Avenue. The work will include activities like excavation, hydro-vac, and welding during the day. Dominion has received 24-hour work and noise permits from the City of Alexandria, but have told us overnight work will be quieter, focusing on generators, pumps, and other equipment with noise blankets to help keep things as quiet as possible.

The right-turn lane and sidewalk near the intersection of Richmond Highway and E Reed Avenue will be temporarily closed for safety.
